e-Scholars (On-line Scholars Information System)
Guidelines
e-Scholars is a web based application that
allows PCIERD scholars to submit their Engineering Information Sheet
Online. Likewise, they can fill up and update the forms available
under the system.
Requirements of e-Scholars:
- A user must be a recognized PCIERD-scholar.
- Connection to the Internet - a user may submit the Egineering
Graduate Information Sheet (EGIS) at home, office or even at an
internet café.
- Registration to our on-line scholars information system (SIS)
- A user must first sign up in order to have a password to log
on to e-Scholars. Only scholars whose names are included
in the master list of scholars will be able to register.
Upon registration, a user should provide a valid email address
to be used for any possible communication.
Forms To be accomplished:
- Personal Information - contains all the personal information
of the scholar.To be filled up during the registration.
- *Pre-Scholarship Information -
contains the pre-scholarship information of the scholar.
- *Post-Scholarship Information -
contains the post scholarship information of the scholar.
- *Industry Involvement Information
- contains the industry involvement information of the scholar.
- *Researches, Projects and Publications
- contains the information regarding the researches,projects and
publications done by the scholar.
* optional forms. To be filled up
once registered and logged in.
Guidelines to Register:
- Be sure to check your name in the master list of scholars found
in the search portion of the login page. If your name is not on
the list, please contact PCIERD before registration.
- Once your name is included in the list, you may start ro register
to e-Scholars.
- Look for the link in the login page, if you haven't signed up.
- In the registration page, fill-up the personal information form
and be sure to fill-up the required fields.
- Submit the form and continue to fill up the other forms at the
main page.
Note: Be sure to remember your password.
After Registration:
Once registered you can now proceed to the login page and type
your
name and Password to access e-Scholars.
Once logged in, you will be directed to the main page and you
may do the following:
- Continue to fill up the forms on Pre-Scholarship, Post-Scholarship,
Industrial Involvement and Research, Projects and Publication.
These forms are empty if this is your first time to login.
- Update the forms anytime.
- Print the Engineering Information Sheet based on the
printing instructions.
- Upload a picture based on the guidelines
- Send your comments and suggestions to the administrator.
- Logout from the system.
Retrieve Forgotten Password:
- On the log in page of the e-Scholars, click the link
to "Forgot your password". You will then be directed
to a page where you will be asked to supply the e-mail address
you provided during your registration. After clicking the submit
button, an electronic mail will be sent to you containing your
password.
