NATIONAL LINKAGES

PCIERD is doing its part in creating an S&T infrastructure that is based on manpower development. PCIERD is helping the industry by uplifting the quality of engineering education in the country and thus increase the number of  highly trained engineers and scientists. PCIERD also intends to raise the level of local research and other professional activities especially in the engineering field.

INTERNATIONAL LINKAGES

Through the years, a number of collaborative activities among government, private and other non-government organizations have been implemented and have resulted to mutual benefits particularly in terms of technology development, demonstration and eventually adoption and commercialization.  PCIERD has established collaborative network with relevant agencies like the BETP and CITEM for foreign missions and expositions of the results of R&D projects, technology scanning, analyzing market trends and identifying technologies for product development. It is with this kind of partnerships and linkages that we likewise establish markets and distribution channels for goods.  Moreover, PCIERD takes pride in having established cooperative undertakings with the international S&T community as it continues to sustain these cooperative relationships and aims to establish new ones.
